The Dance Lesson

“Saul, we look ridiculous.”

He looked down at his new wife, and supposed that she did have a point. He was 6’4, and Sam was so short that she only came up to half way up his chest.[1]

But now that Sam was the Commander of the Watch[2], they were getting invited to society do’s, which meant that Sam had to learn how to dance.

“My face is always going to be squished in your stomach Saul!”

Saul sighed. Well, try to learn how to dance any way.

[1]When they first went out in the streets hand in hand, some dimmer visitors had followed them, asking where the circus was. The reply from Sam was enough to send them off crying.
